Refreshing the Singapore story and redefining success
What is the ‘good life’ we aspire towards? What does the Singapore story mean to us? Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong asked the audience at the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) 35th anniversary conference on June 12. He said that a common thread among Singaporeans is the hope that society can embrace a more inclusive definition of success. 

As Singapore refreshes its social compact, we will also embark on a new approach to skills and success. As DPM Wong has shared, “Success is less about means and more about meaning.” Read more and DPM Wong's  comments on remaining united. 

The PAP Government is committed to supporting people living with dementia and their caregivers. There are about 550 dementia Go-To-Points islandwide to help lost persons with dementia to reunite with their families. Read more.

At the launch of Singapore's first-ever Digital Connectivity Blueprint (DCB), Minister for Communications and Information Josephine Teo said that the DCB will “bring greater opportunities for our people and enterprises". Read more.   
We want to build an inclusive society, which means giving ex-offenders a second chance in life. The Yellow Ribbon culinary competition recently offered inmates and ex-offenders a chance to hone their culinary skills which would help with their employment opportunities.
