One year ago the right-wing supermajority on the Supreme court overturned fifty years of precedent that enshrined federal protections for abortion care. Their ruling held that abortion care was not a protected right under the Constitution, which allowed Republican-controlled states to effectively end abortion access for most pregnant people.

Within days of their ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, 13 states with trigger laws criminalizing abortion care on the books, some from the previous century, went into effect. Since the ruling half of the states now have laws either restricting or banning abortion access.

This ruling has resulted in too many people's lives being endangered because they cannot access legal and safe healthcare.

Today, we can help people access the healthcare they desperately need.
