Happy Pride, John!

Last week, I had the pleasure to attend the Danbury and New Preston Pride celebrations, and it was wonderful to see joy on full display.

This is especially important now when attacks against the LGBTQ+ community are on the rise. From violence against drag performers to attacks on trans youth and even investigating teachers for creating inclusive learning environments, many are grappling with fear this pride month. This year more than 500 anti gay bills have been introduced across the country.

One of the most significant ways we can show up for the LGBTQ+ community is by flipping the House in 2024 and voting out those legislating hate against this community.
