NBC News Report: “A third of Trump's court nominees have anti-LGBTQ history”

Friend – during Donald Trump’s one-term presidency, he made a massive impact on the direction of our federal courts.

 

Trump’s administration confirmed three Supreme Court justices, 54 circuit court judges, and 174 district court judges – and nearly 3 in 10 of these judges possess anti-LGBTQ+ viewpoints.

 

And any day now, the conservative Supreme Court will release their ruling on 303 Creative v. Elenis, which could strike down an anti-discrimination law that prevents businesses from refusing services to LGBTQ+ customers. 

 

With LGBTQ+ rights on the line this legislative session, it’s urgent that we nominate more judges who are committed to protecting LGBTQ+ freedoms and equality.
