Earlier this month, we asked for support from both you and members of Congress for the Defending the Human Rights of Palestinian Children and Families Living Under Israeli Military Occupation Act.

This bill would ensure that no U.S. military funding is used to imprison Palestinian children in the Israeli military detention and court system, demolish Palestinian homes, or to further expand settlements and annex Palestinian land.

We need more Justice Democrats in Congress who will fight for legislation like this and stand up for Palestinian human rights.

Just yesterday, the New York Times reported that “Israel Settlers Attack Palestinian Towns After Shooting” with the Israeli government hastening plans to expand settlements in the occupied West Bank.

The time to take action is now. We need widespread support to show members of Congress that we're expecting them to do the right thing. And we need your support to recruit and elect more leaders who will be a voice for Palestinian human rights.
