Friend,

President Joe Biden’s scheme to suspend students’ loan payment and cancel their debt by transferring up to $20,000 of higher education debt to American taxpayers -- to the tune of some $400 billion dollars -- is wrong and deeply unfair.

Forcing hard working Americans, who may not even have attended college, to pay for loans they never took out is simply unacceptable.

Friend, that’s why the Republican U.S. House of Representatives -- joined by some Democrats -- passed legislation to block Biden’s bad debt transfer plan, and why I co-sponsored a corresponding bill in the U.S. Senate which was also approved with bipartisan support.

Unfortunately, Biden has now used his veto power to deny the widely supported cancellation of his plan, absurdly claiming that he’s “not going to back down on my efforts to help tens of millions and working-class families. That’s why I’m going to veto this bill…”

Working class families?  Like the millions of Americans without college degrees who have been hardest hit by the Biden Democrats’ skyrocketing energy prices and inflation?  That’s ridiculous.

Of course, we can’t expect Joe Biden to listen to reason, which makes it even more important that we have a solid GOP Majority in both Houses of Congress -- strong enough to override a Biden veto -- and our opportunity to capture the Senate is almost here.

After all the destructive schemes pushed forward by Joe Biden and the Chuck Schumer Democrats in the last two years, we’ve got a lot of work to do -- work I’m ready to help lead on Capitol Hill -- and that’s why I hope you’ll get in the fight for a crucial new Republican U.S. Senate Majority in the rapidly approaching 2024 Elections!
