Republicans love to pretend to be obsessed with "law and order," but their recent actions are the opposite.
Instead of letting the judicial process play out, Republicans like my highly embarrassing colleague Jim Jordan –
Chairman of House Judiciary Committee and one of Trump's leading supporters in Congress – are spouting deranged conspiracy theories, excusing espionage, pretending the bathroom is an excellent place to store classified documents, and even threatening violence.
Enough is enough. Add your name to tell Republicans to stop attacking America and let the justice process play out. No person is above the law.
Nothing is more unpatriotic than undermining the rule of law and disrupting efforts to keep our country safe. Republican efforts to pretend the Durham report is something that it isn't are a disgrace and a waste of taxpayer dollars. Yesterday, I exposed Durham’s incompetent investigation and I agree with the
Daily Beast headline that declared I “embarrassed” him.
Every Republican engaging in this conduct is a disgrace to our country, and we can't pretend that any of this behavior is normal.
Join me here in denouncing these Republican attacks on the rule of law.
Onward,
Jerry
