This Saturday, June 24 marks one year since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. While the elimination of federal protections for abortion have caused immeasurable harm over these past twelve months, we also know that systemic injustices have put abortion out of reach for too many, long before Roe was overturned.

Since that time, Florida Republicans passed a six-week abortion ban, before many people even know they are pregnant. The impact of this ban will not just be felt in Florida, but across the country, as Florida is the last remaining state in the South where people can access reproductive healthcare.

That's why we're working to get abortion protection on the 2024 ballot. This weekend, Dobbs Anniversary Days of Action events are taking place across Florida, including trainings on how to collect petition signatures to get abortion on the ballot.
