Hi Jack,
There are few experiences as wondrous as peering into a giant sequoia’s towering canopy, strolling among thousand-year-old coast redwoods, or spotting endangered wildlife making themselves at home in the lush forest.
But when we can’t hit the trails, a moment spent gazing at a beautiful forest photograph can impart a small bit of their enchantment.
That’s why, each year, it’s our pleasure to select photos to fill an annual Save the Redwoods League Calendar. And this year, we want YOU to vote on our cover photo!
Which photo most captures your imagination?
Photo 1 - Giant Sequoias Is it the quiet awe of gazing into snow-dusted giant sequoia canopies? |
Photo 2 - High Rock Overlook Standing in Humboldt Redwoods State Park atop High Rock Overlook’s sweeping river vista? |
Photo 3 - Trillium Spotting a delicate white trillium blooming from the lush floor of Rockefeller Forest? |
Photo 4 - Great Gray Owl Catching a great gray owl alighting on a treetop? |
Which photo do you like most? Vote on the cover photo for the 2024 Save the Redwoods Calendar!
Each photo encapsulates a unique marvel, and it's up to you to decide which one is most cover-worthy.
As the senior manager of marketing communications, one of my favorite roles is selecting the images that will carry the forests’ serenity to supporters like you, scattered across the globe.
Thank you for voting, and we look forward to sharing the results!
With thanks,
Jennifer Charney |
