Iowa needs a U.S. Senate candidate who can beat Sen. Ernst, be a leader in Washington, and stand up for Iowa. Also, we need a Senator who doesn’t romance special interests and doesn’t give the President a free pass.

Speaking of Sen. Ernst, she again showed her lack of judgment and hollow leadership just this week. You did not hear a peep from her regarding the President tweeting about the sentencing of his convicted cronies. While the President interferes and the Attorney General kowtows, Senator Ernst stays silent. She is part of the problem.

Not a word of outrage, not a mention of regret, nothing. Silence is acquiescence.
