Philly Kids Need Your Help This Summer
Young girl enjoys an apple during Summer Meals

Many families rely on free and reduced-cost meals during the school year, so it can be really challenging for them to provide these additional meals during the summer. And, while the Summer Meals Program is federally-supported and covers food costs, there is no funding provided to ensure families know about the program and how to access these free meals for kids.

Families can only benefit from the Summer Meals Program if they know about it.

That's where the Coalition Against Hunger comes in...

At the Coalition Against Hunger we work to ensure kids 18 and younger can access free, healthy meals and snacks with no ID, no registration, and no proof of income required.

We operate a dedicated Summer Meals Hotline, create and distribute informational materials, and maintain a Summer Meals Site Map on our website to connect families with the most convenient location where they can get free meals for kids over the summer.
