One year ago, we launched an emergency fund to help elect Democratic pro-choice women who would fight back and defend our rights after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

In the year since the devastating Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision, Republicans around the country have introduced or enacted increasingly restrictive abortion bans and other laws meant to take away our rights. We must replace the people who will take away our rights with the ones who will protect and restore them.
By an overwhelming majority, the American public believes that we should have the freedom to make our own decisions and the right to determine our own future. We believe that abortion is health care, and that decisions around when and whether to start a family belong with us, not the government.
