A federal judge in Arkansas overturned a state ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth.

By repealing the ban, Judge James M. Moody Jr. of the Federal District Court in Little Rock created the first barrier in the nationwide wave of transphobic legislation. LGBTQ+ rights advocates have closely watched the case as it signals whether bans against trans-care would withstand legal challenges.

Hunter Biden to plead guilty to federal charges 

Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to the three offenses. If convicted, Biden faces a maximum penalty of 12 months in prison on each tax charge and a maximum sentence of 10 years on the firearm charge, which is a felony.

DeSantis and Abbott continue sending migrants to Democrat-led states

In the latest example of a GOP strategy to bring the border crisis to Democrat-led cities, Texas' Republican Gov. Greg Abbott has sent a busload of 40 migrants to Los Angeles.
