Welcome to Thursday, June 22nd, bees and wasps...
A federal judge in Arkansas overturned a state ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth.
By repealing the ban, Judge James M. Moody Jr. of the Federal District Court in Little Rock created the first barrier in the nationwide wave of transphobic legislation. LGBTQ+ rights advocates have closely watched the case as it signals whether bans against trans-care would withstand legal challenges.
Do you want to see other trans bans repealed? Let your Reps know.
