We're celebrating, John!
This month marks one year since Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was sworn in, and we couldn't be more grateful for her work protecting our most fundamental rights.
We're asking 10,000 supporters to sign a special card commemorating Justice Jackson's first year on the Supreme Court. Will you sign on now, John?
John — on June 30 last year, just as pro-choice Americans across the country were reeling from the fallout of the Supreme Court's disastrous decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Justice Jackson was sworn in to her seat on the Court.
Finally, we had another woman on the Supreme Court who would protect our fundamental rights. Finally, we had a justice unswayed by partisan extremism who would fairly represent the will of the people. And, finally, for the first time in American history, we swore in the first Black woman to serve on the Court.
Justice Jackson made history that day, John. Since then, she's been a champion for reproductive freedom, voting rights, environmental protections, and so much more. We couldn't be more grateful for her work.
Now, in honor of her first year on the Court, we're asking 10,000 EMILYs Listers (like you!) to help celebrate Justice Jackson's service. Will you sign on now to join in celebrating Justice Jackson?
Thank you for your support,
the EMILYs List team
