John,

When Donald Trump’s 6-3 Supreme Court Majority overturned Roe v. Wade almost one year ago, Lt. Governor Flanagan and I promised we would not turn back the clock on reproductive rights in Minnesota as long as we remained in office.

This legislative session, we delivered on that promise and made Minnesota the first state in the country to codify abortion rights into law since the devastating Dobbs decision.

I was proud to be on MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning to talk about Minnesota’s nation-leading work for reproductive freedom, because this fight isn’t over.

Make no mistake: Reproductive freedom was on the ballot last November, and we wouldn’t be here today without the overwhelming grassroots support of this movement. But we need your ongoing support to defend our progress.

Our first end-of-quarter deadline since the end of our historic legislative session is next Friday. To reach our budget target, we still need to raise more than $20,000, and according to our records, we’re still missing your support this year.

John, will you chip in $5, $10, $50, or more for the first time in 2023 so we can continue working together to defend reproductive freedom in Minnesota?

Thank you,

Tim Walz

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
