Wild Cats and Dogs of Maine
Get a good look at bobcats, Canada lynx, foxes, and coyotes as you explore the Park and learn something new about these cool critters!
In addition to captivating talks by Park staff throughout the day, and fascinating displays of animal artifacts, there will be special presentations by Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Biologists, Shevenell Webb and Jen Vashon.
They'll share their knowledge about bobcats, Canada lynx, coyotes, red foxes, and gray foxes and talk about the exciting work they do with these species in Maine.
Biologist presentations will take place at 10:00am and 1:00pm at the amphitheater in the Park (or picnic shelter in case of rain). All other presentation times will be posted in the park on the day of the event.

Maine's Moose and White-Tailed Deer
Enjoy the view of white-tailed deer from a wooded path along their habitat, get a close look at a bull moose with big antlers, then join us for some presentations to learn about these impressive animals.
In addition to captivating talks by Park staff throughout the day, and fascinating displays of animal artifacts, there will be special presentations by Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Biologists, Nathan Bieber and Lee Kantar.
They'll share their knowledge about deer and moose, and discuss the exciting work they do with these species in Maine.
Nathan?s presentation about deer will take place at 10:00am and Lee?s presentation about moose will take place 1:00pm. They will be located at the amphitheater in the Park (or the?picnic shelter in case of rain). All other presentation times will be posted in the park on the day of the event.
