This is tough to hear, but it's important: Saturday marks one year since the ultra-conservative majority on the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

We knew this ruling would cause immeasurable harm, and we were right. There are now 22 million women living in states where abortion has been banned, and the GOP's cruel laws have even prevented doctors from providing lifesaving care. 

These anti-choice policies make my blood boil, friend. I firmly believe that everyone deserves the right to decide when, and if, they start a family. But GOP politicians continue to trample on our freedom, and they're even trying to pass a federal abortion ban.

I'll never give up on reproductive choice. I'm continuing to work in the Senate to restore Roe as the law of the land – but one year into this fight, I need to confirm that supporters like you are still with me.
