We’re working on a lot here in Rhode Island. It may feel like Election Day is really far away, but we’re taking steps right now to ensure that Republicans don’t flip RI-02 next year.
From canvassing to TV ads to yard signs, a lot goes into winning in a competitive district like ours — and we can’t keep up with any of it unless we continuously hit our fundraising benchmarks.
The end of the month
(next Friday) is our major FEC public filing deadline, and we have a lot of fundraising to do before we close the books at the end of the month so we can have a strong report when our numbers go public.
Having a strong FEC report will show potential GOP opponents that we have the grassroots strength to win next year. And it helps us fully fund all of our voter outreach plans from here until Election Day.
