Hey, today we are launching our "Joe I Know" series with Trans Rights Activist Mimi Lemay.

Mimi's son Jacob transitioned when he was four years old, and Joe first sat with them to discuss their activism and experience in 2015.

Together, they fought for state passage of transgender anti-discrimination protections in 2016 and to uphold those laws in 2018 in the historic 'Yes on 3' campaign, making Massachusetts the first state in U.S. history to successfully defend basic LGBTQIA+ protections at the ballot box.
