Hi friend,
Too Small to Fail, the early childhood education initiative of the Clinton Foundation, will turn 10 this week. It’s a very happy birthday! We know that the earliest years of a child’s life provide a valuable opportunity to help prepare them for success. That is why a decade ago, we came together and launched Too Small to Fail to support parents and caregivers with information and tools to support their children’s healthy brain development.
Over the past 10 years, we have piloted and scaled many innovative approaches to encourage parents to talk, read, and sing with their young children. Among our efforts, we have transformed hundreds of laundromats, health clinics, waiting rooms, family courts, and playgrounds into family friendly, literacy-rich environments. These spaces are now filled with learning opportunities. Donations like yours have made this work possible. Today, I’m making a gift to celebrate this birthday and support the Foundation’s critical work. Will you join me? Give now, and Bill, Chelsea, and I will match your gift, $1-for-$1, up to $100,000. |
Too Small’s work continues to grow. Last month in New York City, we convened leaders from the philanthropic, corporate, civic, health, climate, media, and early childhood sectors to examine the devastating impacts our changing climate is having on our youngest children. Through a series of provocative and urgent discussions, we identified the need to work across sectors to develop and implement solutions that address the complexity and scale of the issue. |

We can accomplish so much when we come together to make a difference. Too Small to Fail is a great example of that. Thank you for supporting our mission — and for giving young children the strong start they deserve. Sincerely, |

P.S. Did you know that almost 60% of children in the U.S. start kindergarten unprepared, lagging behind their peers in critical language and reading skills? Let’s come together and change that. Chip in today. |
