Proposed Permit for the Robinson Contracting Mobile Treatment Unit

? ? ? ? ? ? In accordance with the provisions of the Wyoming Environmental Quality Act and Chapter 1 of
the Solid Waste Rules, Robinson Contracting Inc., has submitted a new Chapter 6 Mobile Treatment
permit application for the Robinson Contracting Mobile Treatment Unit.

? ? ? ? ? ? Robinson Contracting operates a mobile storage tank decommissioning facility. The facility
decommissions petroleum storage tanks and is responsible for ensuring the waste contents of petroleum storage tanks, the waste generated during the cleaning of tanks, and the tanks themselves are properly managed. The wastes managed by the applicant in conducting tank decommissioning activities include storage tanks being removed from service, tank rinsates, tank sludges and scales, residual fuels and other tank contents. The service area for solid waste management activities conducted by Robinson Contracting includes the State of Wyoming. The life of the facility is indefinite.

? ? ? ? ? ? The Department of Environmental Quality, Solid and Hazardous Waste Division (DEQ) has
determined that the permit application is generally complete and technically adequate. Therefore, DEQ
issued a proposed permit for this facility. Copies of the permit application, DEQ?s review of the
application, and the proposed permit can be viewed at DEQ?s Casper office 444 W. Collins Dr., Casper, WY 82601.

? ? ? ? ? ? Any interested person has the right to file written comments, including objections on the
proposed permit. The period for providing written comments on the proposed permit shall begin on
*June 22, 2023* and ends on *August 5, 2023*. Any written comments must be received by 5:00 PM on the last day of the notice period. Comments must be submitted in writing to the Department of
Environmental Quality, Todd Parfitt, Director, 200 West 17th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82002 or submitted
using the DEQ comment portal provided at:
