Here we go, John. One of Chris’s Republican opponents, Jay Obernolte, just got his much coveted endorsement: President Donald Trump.  This is a big deal. The fact that the President himself is wading into our race proves that Republicans are actually getting nervous about keeping this seat red. So over the next few weeks, expect to see this district flooded with expensive ads and mailers touting Obernolte’s allegiance to Trump. We’re running a different kind of campaign here in CA-08. Unlike Obernolte, we don’t think the far-right agenda is working for our community. And we believe in fundraising from the individual grassroots donors who we’ll be accountable to in Congress.
