We are furious, John.
Yesterday, Democratic lawmakers tried to bring a vote to the House floor on three lifesaving commonsense gun safety bills.
But PA-01’s fake moderate GOP Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick was THE key House member who blocked them from getting to a vote.
The laws include a ban on assault weapons and enhancing background checks for gun sales. As a combat veteran who has seen the carnage these weapons inflict, Ashley unequivocally supports an assault weapons ban and universal background checks.
The majority of Americans agree, but despite that, Fitzpatrick did what was best for himself and Kevin McCarthy – not Pennsylvanians and the rest of America.
Right now guns are the number one cause of death for young people. There have been 260+ mass shootings this year alone. This is a national emergency, but Fitzpatrick is more concerned about the politics of it all.
We are fed up with fake moderates like Brian Fitzpatrick who are more concerned about their political future than the folks in their own district. We need real leaders like Ashley who will fight for gun safety reform. Rush a donation to help elect a gun safety champion to Congress →

As a combat veteran, Ashley will waste no time supporting an assault weapons ban and won't play politics with our kids’ lives.
Thanks for all your support.
