Missing Submarine May Have Become Tangled in Titanic Wreckage
- Once the missing submersible lost power or knew that they were in trouble, there was no beacon received on the surface that would have confirmed their location. This leads to the worst possible situation: the missing submersible, with five individuals aboard, may have gotten tangled up in or trapped in the wreckage of the Titanic.
- Strong undersea currents can push the submersible far out to sea and can make recovering efforts difficult.
- To prolong the amount of time they can survive under present conditions, the individuals aboard must rest, reserve energy, and remain optimistic.

Planned Parenthood Begins Staff Layoffs Ahead of Dobbs Anniversary
- Planned Parenthood began the process of laying off approximately 14 percent of its national staff, in an effort to redirect resources and prioritize local affiliates.
- This workforce reduction comes just prior to the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court decided Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, overturning the disastrous Roe v. Wade decision.
- Heritage will continue to advocate for pro-life policies that cut off taxpayer funding for abortionists like Planned Parenthood, end the rampant use of chemical abortion, and protect beating hearts in the womb.

Hunter Biden’s Sweet Plea Deal
- In a move that will avoid a public trial and potential prison time, Hunter Biden, the wayward son of President Joe Biden, has agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay income taxes on over $3 million and agreed to enter a pretrial diversion program for a third count of illegal possession of a handgun by an unlawful user of illegal drugs.
- Although the written terms of the agreement have not been published, according to news sources, in exchange for Biden’s acceptance of responsibility on the tax and gun charges, the Justice Department will ask for probation instead of prison.
- The plea arrangement will be presented to a federal district court judge in the near future. If the judge decides to accept the plea, Biden will enter pleas of guilty and accept diversion on the firearms charge.
