John,
Earlier this month, the State Air Pollution Control Board voted to withdraw from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).
The RGGI played an important role in the Virginia Clean Economy Act, a plan to get our electric grid to be carbon-free by 2050. Virginians like you want long-term, sustainable solutions that will improve the air and water for themselves and their children, and fighting climate change cannot be a single-pronged attack.
If the environment is important to you, please consider a donation to the only candidate in this race endorsed by the Climate Cabinet Action Fund and who earned an “A” grade from the VA Sierra Club. [[link removed]]
His Republican opponent got an “F”.
“Creating a better, sustainable future for our community in Henrico is my top priority - and that means supporting pro-climate policies that will create green jobs and invest in clean energy. I'll continue to fight for an equitable transition to clean energy for Virginians across the Commonwealth.”
- Schuyler VanValkenburg
If you agree that we need clean energy and pro-climate policies, please make a donation of $20, so Schuyler can keep prioritizing the environment in the legislature. [[link removed]]
