I want to be upfront with you about what Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin’s game plan is in Virginia (other than plotting a self-serving run for president, of course).

If Republicans win back full control of the Virginia state legislature this November, they will send the following bills to Youngkin’s desk to sign into law:

Severe restrictions or an all-out ban on abortion
A copycat of Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill to erode LGBTQIA+ rights
A rollback of progressive wins like Democrats’ expansion of background checks for gun sales and a reduction of carbon emissions

Progressive policy is on the line in Virginia – but beyond that, Virginia Republicans are trying to take away Virginians’ freedom to make their own health care decisions, freedom to live in a clean and safe state, and freedom to be who they are.

That’s why we’re building up a grassroots movement of people committed to electing young progressives in state legislatures like Virginia – but we need to hear from supporters like you:
