FIRST: Trump fired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman on Friday night -- retribution for Vindman’s damning testimony about Trump’s corruption.

THEN: Trump’s Justice Department pushed for a dramatically lighter sentence for Roger Stone -- the top Trump campaign advisor who was convicted during the Mueller probe. Now, all four career prosecutors resigned from the case in protest.

Trump is going after those who tried to hold him accountable and giving a free pass to those who’ve enabled his criminal attempts to steal elections. That’s not a democracy -- this is a rapid spiral into authoritarianism.

Make no mistake, Trump feels emboldened to do this because Joni Ernst and Mitch McConnell refused to impeach.
