JOhn, the most important number in Virginia politics this year is two.

Republicans need just two seats to flip the State Senate and give themselves a governing trifecta in Richmond. At the same time, Democrats are two seats away from re-taking the House of Delegates and putting up a firm blockade against abortion bans, cuts to our public schools, book bans, and other extreme legislation.

Whatever happens this November will come down to just a handful of seats in both chambers, likely decided by thread-bare decisions. I'm going to do everything I can to lend a hand to our newly-minted Democratic nominees in key races.

I'm excited to campaign for strong Virginia Democrats up and down the ballot this summer and fall — but to make as big an impact as possible, I'll need additional resources. So can you pitch in to help me ensure that this November is a blue wave in Virginia?

Virginia's primaries yesterday showed that there's a lot of interest and enthusiasm among Democrats for November. And I was excited to see candidates I've supported in Northern Virginia such as Russet Perry and Suhas Subramanyam advance to the general election.

The immediate weeks ahead are now going to be critical. Glenn Youngkin (who harbors national ambitions) is dead-set on flipping the State Senate, and his deep-pocketed allies will spend heavily to attack Democrats. I want to help our incredible Senate and Delegate nominees fight back — and deliver Youngkin a humiliation on November 7 by strengthening our State Senate majority and flipping the House of the Delegates.

Early investment and events are going to make a big difference. So I need your help to cover as wide a playing field as possible.
