Friend,
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed and signed in 2021 has been delivering for communities across the country — creating jobs, facilitating commerce, and modernizing the ways we connect with one another.
The federal government is making record investments in building up Alaska’s infrastructure, including:
- A projected $3.7 billion over 5 years to upgrade Alaska’s roads and bridges.
- At least $100 million to connect all parts of the state through broadband internet.
- Roughly $400 million to expand sustainable public transit options in Alaska.
- Over $50 million to build an extensive electric vehicle charging network throughout the state.
We know that investing in infrastructure is fundamental to a region’s success. In the largest state with the most challenging terrain, robust infrastructure is essential. As we invest more in connecting Alaskans, we will create jobs, advance our state’s economy, and build Alaska’s future.
Our work is not over. We will continue advocating for infrastructure investments here in Alaska and around the country. If you support our work to build the future for Alaska and America, will you pitch in with a contribution now?
Thank you, team.
