Budget 2023 passed in the House of Commons
Our Liberal team is staying focused on building a better future for Canadians. We are working to make life more affordable through our Grocery Rebate, provide stronger public health care including the Canadian Dental Care Plan, help first-time homebuyers, invest in a clean economy and create good middle-class jobs, accelerate the fight against climate change by working towards net-zero emissions by 2050, and so much more.
Despite Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party’s attempted filibuster to block our Liberal plan and make cuts to crucial supports to Canadians, our Liberal team is committed to putting Canadians first.

Making life more affordable
Our Liberal team is committed to making life more affordable for Canadians. We introduced the new Grocery Rebate to deliver relief to 11 million Canadians who need it the most. Our Canadian Dental Care plan will help 9 million uninsured Canadians. And we are also putting more money into the pockets of Canadians through our Canadian Workers Benefit.
