Dear John,

Did you know that in addition to supporting Texas teens, Healthy Futures of
Texas leads the Texas Women’s Healthcare Coalition? This vital
collaborative, which covers topics from birth control to rural healthcare
access, is composed of over 80 healthcare, community and faith-based
leaders. WE ARE DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF TEXAS
WOMEN, BABIES, AND FAMILIES by advocating for access to preventive
healthcare for all Texas women.

In the legislative session that just wrapped up, we ADVOCATED FOR AND
ACHIEVED NOTABLE WINS including:

* Requiring insurance companies to allow patients to obtain up to a
12-month supply of birth control in one pharmacy visit – the first
beneficial bill addressing contraception to be signed into law in recent
memory.

* A historic $112 million increase for the state's women's health health
programs, including mobile contraception units to reach underserved areas
of the state.

* Working with a broad coalition of advocates to support extending
postpartum Medicaid coverage from 60 days to 12 months.

YOUR SUPPORT HELPS FUEL THE ADVOCACY EFFORTS THAT BRING ABOUT THESE
SUCCESSES.

PLEASE DONATE TODAY [3].

Together, we can bring about a healthy future for young people, and for all
of us.

Appreciatively,

Evelyn Delgado
President and CEO
