Yet again, I am deeply disappointed in President Trump.

Trump proposed a budget that includes $900 billion in cuts to Medicaid, $500 billion in cuts to Medicare and a 26.5% decrease in the EPA’s budget.

This budget doesn’t reflect our values as Floridians or as Americans. Frankly, this budget moves us down a path that scares me personally, as a mother and as a Representative in Congress.

Our House Majority is the only remaining xxxxxx against these harmful policies. That’s why I’m asking you today, will you donate $15 to my campaign so I can remain in Congress to fight against proposed budgets like this one which will harm so many American families?

President Trump knows cutting these health care programs and scaling back on environmental protection efforts is not what the American people want. That’s why he’s lied time and time again about not cutting Medicare and Medicaid. But every single budget he’s proposed does exactly that.

A budget is a statement of values and priorities. And President Trump’s values show little regard for South Florida’s workers, middle-class families and its special environment.

That’s why I’m asking you to make a statement that you don’t support a budget that slashes our health care programs and defunds important environmental efforts by donating anything you can afford to my campaign today.
