Tell Congress: Boycott Kevin McCarthy’s Commission to Cut Social Security!
Speaker McCarthy has recently suggested that he would create a commission to cut Social Security and Medicare, even as House Republicans prepare to pass another round of tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy.
During an ongoing pandemic, rising inflation, and an affordability crisis, we cannot afford to cut these critical programs for the middle class. Moreover, the American people deserve to know what this commission is discussing and who is pushing to cut these programs.
