The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE), Special Education Programs Division, is pleased to announce our in-person Week of Academic Vision for Excellence (WAVE) Conference to be held August 1-3, 2023, at the University of Wyoming Gateway Center in Laramie. This conference is relevant for special education directors, administrators, educators, parents, and other Wyoming stakeholders. The conference will cost $350 to attend, and you must register by July 3, 2023. 

State and national presenters will cover topics, such as:

• Behavior.
• Literacy.
• Specially Designed Instruction.
• Social/Emotional.
• Trauma Informed Care.
• IEP Process.
• Special Education Law.

Join us for a post-WAVE,  New Special Education Teacher Boot Camp on August 3-4, 2023.
