Dear John,
We've told you about Julie Rikelman, an abortion activist and Biden nominee for the United States Court of Appeals. Unfortunately, the Senate voted to confirm her on Tuesday, June 20th with a vote of 51-43. Regrettably, this means that she will preside over federal cases for years to come.

Rikelman's career shows her dedication to pushing a radical pro-abortion agenda in our nation's legal system. This includes representing abortionists in court and leading a U.S. litigation team for a pro-abortion organization.
As recently as August of 2022, Rikelman served as the Senior Director of U.S. Litigation for the Center for Reproductive Rights, an organization dedicated to establishing abortion as a "fundamental human right" and attacking pro-life laws and legislation across the United States. As an attorney, Rikelman has defended abortion in several lower court cases.
She took her pro-abortion advocacy to the U.S. Supreme Court in June Medical Services v. Russo (2020) and, most recently, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization (2022), the case that ultimately resulted in the historic overturning of Roe v. Wade. In Dobbs, Rikelman argued against a Mississippi law protecting unborn life after 15 weeks gestation (babies in the womb can suck their thumbs at this stage). She argued in favor of the radical abortion regime that Roe implemented - abortion on demand for any reason throughout all nine months of pregnancy. She even went so far as to falsely claim that abortion has been a part of the American tradition since our country's founding.
Act now to thank the senators who opposed Rikelman's confirmation and share your disappointment with those who voted in her favor!
Thank you for your continued engagement on judicial nominations that will influence the federal judiciary for decades.
Sincerely,
