This week, the President released his budget for the upcoming fiscal year, the first step in the creation of a new federal budget where Congress negotiates what programs get funded, where your tax dollars are best used, and how we plan for the long-term financial health of our country.

I believe that our budget should reflect our values, and represent the investments that we as a society know we need to make to keep our families and communities healthy, grow our economy and create new jobs, and protect our country from threats both foreign and domestic.

As your Representative, I want to know what you believe should be the financial priorities of our country in the coming year.
