Hi John,

As you may know we are in the midst of a lawsuit against Lauren Boebert and her campaign.

One of the key aspects of our lawsuit is the source-based information we released about Boebert’s work as a paid escort in some of Colorado’s wealthiest mountain zip codes. [More information about how we obtained this information, its release, and what happened after we released it can be found below.]

Every piece of information was corroborated by multiple human sources along with photographs, recorded calls, metadata, and other digital evidence. Now we’re about to get a whole lot more corroboration

Last week our counsel, Dan Ernst, Colorado’s premier defamation attorney, filed a subpoena which will require several prominent sugar daddy and sugar baby websites to submit to us the information they have about Boebert’s use of their sites.

See the subpoena below:

When someone like Lauren Boebert dedicates her career to attacking women and their right to choose what they do with their bodies, it is incumbent on us to make this key background information public knowledge.

In case you haven’t been following it, this saga began when we were tipped off by an Aspen businesswoman, familiar with the area's conservative circles but disgusted by Boebert, who gave us enough information to begin digging.

We would ultimately uncover evidence that Lauren Boebert did indeed engage in work as an unpaid escort.  From what we know so far she worked with wealthy clients in areas of extreme wealth like Aspen, Colorado, the most expensive city in Colorado with an average home value of over $2.9 million.

One of the most noteworthy pieces of information we uncovered was that one of Boebert’s wealthy clients allegedly introduced her to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who subsequently encouraged Boebert to run for office.

Once our team acquired enough corroborating information we released the story to the media and all hell broke loose

In response to our well-sourced claims, Boebert went on an emergency conservative media tour appearing on programs like The Sean Hannity Show and Tami Lahren’s fake news show calling us liars and threatening American Muckrakers PAC, our staff, and our donors with a lawsuit.

Her lawsuit never materialized, likely as a result of Boebert’s counsel informing her that if she tried to pursue legal action against us the claims that we made about her escort work would be vindicated, and that if she doubled down on her lie that she never worked as an escort she would be found guilty of perjury.

Earlier this month we filed a lawsuit of our own for defamation which will settle this once and for all. As you can see it is now well under way.

We are on the cutting edge of the fight to unseat Boebert and momentum is on our side. Boebert is backed into a corner and she is scared. This lawsuit can and will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, and will hopefully end Boebert’s career once and for all. Can you make a donation of $25 or more today in order to help us step on the gas with our lawsuit, and to enable us to continue investigating new claims against her?

When we first began writing to you about this lawsuit I knew that it seemed far off and distant. Now, thanks to your support, the seeds we planted this spring are growing into a massive catastrophe for Boebert and her team – legally and even politically.

This would not have been possible without the support of thousands of activists from across the country, and we are eternally grateful for your commitment to helping us hold Boebert accountable. Today and every day.

Thank you,
