** Dear John,
------------------------------------------------------------
Today we’re excited to kick off a series of conversations centered around stories from the latest issue of our magazine! The first episode of this season’s Summer Read-along Series ([link removed]) —set for 3:30 CT today—will focus on “The Power of Place: Art As A Tool For Social Justice.” We’ll learn from the story’s author, LFJ Associate Editor Coshandra Dillard, and artists Kalonji Gilchrist, Milton Madison and Sunny Paulk of Montgomery, Alabama. They’ll share insights into the power of art in storytelling and ways educators can use art to raise awareness of social justice issues.

Register here ([link removed]) ! We hope you’ll join us!
