We got out into the Community to have some fun.
Attended the Encanto, Kuumba Festival San Diego’s longest running celebration of black youth, family, community development, health, art, culture and heritage -- held for the first time ever in the San Diego Black Arts and Culture District right here in County District Four!
And joined our friends at IBEW So Cal for the 4th annual BBQ and Chili Cook-Off!

And we paid our respects to our fallen heroes.
Monica attended a Memorial Day Ceremony where she laid a wreath to honor a local San Diegan who served as a Tuskegee Airman.
