Imagine Something New at Dream Lab
Dream Lab Retreat – August 24-25
Get out of the office and into a creative headspace. Dream Lab, a 24-hour retreat at the Lodge of the Four Seasons, is designed for you and your team to imagine and brainstorm about something new for your ministry. A facilitator will guide your group through creative prompts and questions to allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into the next dream God has for your church.

Spring Lay Education Course Dates
Lay education courses offer opportunities for laity who desire to use their witness, leadership and service to inspire others to a deeper commitment to Christ and more effective discipleship. Registration is open for several classes - both online and in-person, basic and advanced.

Southeast District In Person courses will be offered Saturday, September 30 at First UMC (Sikeston). The courses will include Preaching, Biblical Interpretation, and Prayer. Mark your calendars!! Registration will be open in August.

Have you explored Absorb? Absorb is an on-demand learning platform that offers online courses on your timeline, at a pace that works for you. The goal of this learning platform is to support educational opportunities for those seeking lay certification as well as equip local church leaders on a variety of topics to support their work. Classes include Discipleship Coaching, Discovering Spiritual Gifts, Leading Worship and Public Prayer, and Clergy Taxes. More classes are currently in production!
