Out of state MD Indefinitely Suspended
OLYMPIA, WA ??The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) indefinitely suspended the license of Morton Hyson, MD (#60619965) in May 2023, for failure to respond. Hyson resides in Nevada
The WMC issued a statement of charges which alleged Dr. Hyson committed unprofessional conduct when he surrendered his Oregon medical license while under investigation and was prohibited from reapplying for an Oregon medical license for at least two years. The Oregon action was based on fraud or misrepresentation in applying for a license after Dr. Hyson failed to report to the Oregon Medical Board action taken against his medical licenses in Nevada and Mississippi.
Dr. Hyson did not formally respond to the statement of charges. ?Dr. Hyson may petition for reinstatement in the future
