Out of state MD Indefinitely Suspended
OLYMPIA, WA ??The Washington Medical Commission (WMC) indefinitely suspended the license of Nick C. Greenwood, MD (#60178937) in June 2023, for failure to respond. Greenwood resides in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The WMC issued a statement of charges which alleged Dr. Greenwood committed unprofessional conduct when he surrendered his medical license in Utah for at least three years. The conduct underlying the Utah action included Dr. Greenwood?s conviction of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, a felony offense, and Dr. Greenwood knowingly prescribing or giving away a controlled substance to a drug dependent person on multiple occasions between 2016 and 2018.
Dr. Greenwood did not formally respond to the statement of charges. Dr. Greenwood may petition for reinstatement in the future.
