At dinner, we reflected on the fond memories we had with our Dad. He was so involved in our community, from a Girl Scout Dad, an active school parent volunteer, and even one of our AYSO referees.
We know first hand that our Dad is a champion and fighter for not only us, but for all kids in California.
In fact, our Dad recently received an award from the Campaign for College Opportunity for his leadership and commitment to ensuring access to higher educational opportunities for all California students.
And last year he even successfully advocated to expand state scholarship opportunities for foster kids! (Can you tell we are proud of our Dad and the important work he's doing!)
But we need YOUR help to get him to D.C. --- We need his experience in Congress so we can keep expanding educational opportunities for all kids.
