Tomorrow, Adhikaar staff and members, along with the Ramos v. Mayorkas (including Bhattarai case) plaintiffs, legal team, and advocates will be in Seattle, WA for a hearing before the Ninth Circuit courts to defend TPS for the six countries - Nepal, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Sudan, and Haiti.

We are disappointed with the TPS extension announcement that came out last week - our TPS communities have been living in instability since 2015, living extension to extension, and this is not enough. The Biden administration must stop defending Trump’s anti-immigrant policies. He must redesignate TPS for Nepal and all the Ramos v. Mayorkas countries, and designate TPS for new countries going through similar calamities. President Biden has all the powers to do more and he must act NOW!
