I launched Defend Democracy PAC to stem the tide of MAGA extremism in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Now that the primaries are over, the race for November will be full-speed-ahead and all-hands-on-deck.

We can’t ignore the fact that Republicans have engulfed Virginians in a swirling sea of culture wars, dark money, and conspiracy theories to distract voters from their disastrously unpopular agenda.

Make no mistake: This will likely be one of the most expensive elections in state history. Millions of dark-money dollars are set to flood Virginia in the coming months.

My greatest concern is that VA Dems will be scraping the bottom of the barrel while their GOP competitors are swimming in super PAC cash.
