Did you know that the U.S. Constitution protects children in the womb?
The Constitution guarantees the most fundamental right to life for all humans—even those in the womb. This is a fact that cannot be refuted.
Yet babies are still being tragically killed in the name of "reproductive rights."
This week marks one year since Roe v. Wade was overturned, an incredible step in our fight to make abortion unthinkable. But this step shifted the battle to states.
The damage Roe created over nearly five decades cannot be undone overnight.
However, the good news is this: the Fourteenth Amendment guarantees that “the equal protection of the laws” shall not be denied to “any person.” No state—regardless of its politics—may deny the equal protection of its laws to the weakest and most vulnerable.
This means through the Fourteenth Amendment, the Constitution recognizes preborn children as having the same protections against homicide as those secured to born persons.
On Friday, June 23rd, the Live Action team will stand in Washington, D.C., to demand equal protection for all human beings and to hold our elected officials accountable. We must demand the Constitution's guarantee of the right to life for ALL be upheld.
John, even if you cannot join us in D.C. this week, there IS something you can do right now. Your elected officials need to hear from you.
Will you stand with us and send a message to your representative to demand they acknowledge the constitutional right to life for children in the womb? Contact your representative today.
