Good morning!

While I wasn’t successful in the election yesterday, I am still a winner. Over the last 18 months, I was rewarded with unforgettable experiences and new friendships. I was the beneficiary of so much unexpected kindness from so many.

I appreciate every one of you who voted for me, and I am thankful for the financial support from many of you. But I can’t find the words to truly express my gratitude to those who gave your time, who showed your love with kind words and acts, who made me laugh or who were just there alongside me even while you had your own daily struggles and obligations. I will never forget your overwhelming generosity with the most precious commodity of all – your time.
