The Supreme Court's decision to uphold the Voting Rights Acts marks a momentous victory for Black Alabamians and for every person in our nation who believes in a fair and inclusive democracy. While we won the case, the work continues. Now we have to ensure that a fair map is drawn and implemented by the courts to replace the illegal one created by the Alabama legislature.
