London Climate Action Week

London local government has led the way in producing consumption-based emissions accounts at a regional and local level, and we are delighted to present the latest set of accounts for 2001-2020, produced by the University of Leeds.

London Councils is launching the refreshed Consumption-Based Emissions Report ( [link removed] ) online, together with a new tool that makes CBE Accounts available to every local authority in the country, based on the methodology developed for London.

The event takes place on 26 June, 11-12 pm and you can register here ( [link removed] ).

We will also be attending the ( [link removed] )Reset Connect Conference ( [link removed] ), a flagship event for London Climate Action Week, where colleagues and partners will talk about ( [link removed] )Leading The Way to a Net Zero Future Through Local Government Collaboration ( [link removed] ) ( [link removed] ), featuring our climate programmes and their impact. If you would like to attend our session or the whole conference, you can register for a free pass ( [link removed] ).

Skills London

Skills London will be returning to ExCeL London on 24 and 25 November. Skills London offers a practical way for over 20,000 14- to 24 year-olds to meet face to face with more than 100 employers and education providers. It's free to attend and with around 35,000 jobs, training and apprenticeship opportunities at the event, Skills London helps young Londoners find a future that works for them.

The Skills London team works with London schools and colleges from every borough to encourage teachers to book group visits with their students.
