John, more good news from Virginia: EIGHT state legislative candidates won their primaries!

We already told you that Danica Roem, Adele McClure, Adam Ebbin, Josh Cole and Mark Sickles advanced in their primaries. Now, we're ready to share that Rozia Henson, Laura Jane Cohen and Kelly Convirs-Fowler also won tonight! Join us in wishing them CONGRATULATIONS here.

And even better? If they win in November, LGBTQ+ representation in the Virginia state legislature will increase from five to eight! And Danica will be the first out trans state Senator ever elected in the South, Rozia will be the first out gay Black man ever elected to the Virginia legislature and Adele will be the first Black person and first Asian person elected to the legislature from Arlington County!

We are so excited they've won - and we're one step closer to increasing LGBTQ+ representation in Virginia. Tell these amazing candidates CONGRATS and good luck!
